With the wrong attitude, your presentation could be a flop

Yesterday was the last day of a stunning workshop, my Black Belt Presenter™. I'd like to give you some feedback that might be useful for your next presentations.

Before getting started, you should remember this rule in communication and evaluate how you are doing there:

→ How about improving YOUR attitude?

(Practical tips given to workshop participants)

1. You stay glued to the screen. You shouldn't. Get moving.
 

2. Your nervousness is spreading like wildfire. Learn to breathe deeply. It's about rebooting your lungs.
 

3. Moving your arms in all directions gives a poor impression. Keep them alongside your body.
 

4. You're reading your message. Get rid of your paper.
 

5. You're reading the screen or cheating with your PC in front of you. Don't.
 

6. Everyone sees that your slides are terrible. Don't mention it, it's too late.
 

7. You notice that nobody is listening to you anymore? Look at them! Get connected!
 

8. Do not use words or expressions like: "I think", "I'm not sure", "perhaps", "small". It translates into uncertainty.
 

9. Your presentation is finished? What was the conclusion by the way?
 

10. No feedback from your audience... Fire off with a well-prepared open question!
