What kind of title page should you use?

Most presentations start with a classical title page. Monotonous. Unexciting.

I start with a black screen, or at least the template I'm using for my presentation, but with nothing on it. NOTHING. Why is that? --Because YOU are important, not your title slide. People should see you first, not your title page. And you decide when to get started. Boom!

Then you switch to your title page, if any. I start either with an impressive picture, graph, short quote. Or the agenda. But supposing you have to show a title page. Please make it at least stimulating. Don't depress your audience with a boring slide. Why not try something like these ones? They are not extraordinary. They just transmit something.

Lessons learned?

Decide first if you need a start page.

If yes, which kind of start page: low profile, creative or sparkling?

Creativity has no bounderies. You set the limits.
