Pilot 2 PC's or Mac's with one single remote

I have been asked to explain how I pilot my 2 macs during a presentation. It's simple. I bought 2 Keyspan presenters and synchronized one single remote with the 2 USB connectors. Why do I use this? Because I always travel with my MacBook Air. But I like to have my key points perfectly readable on a larger screen.

So I use the MBA to look from time to time at the slide while staying in front of the audience. I don't need to look always at the large screen to check the animation. And I make sure, when contents are critical, that I don't forget anything. From a distance, I can check that very easily on my 17" MacBook Pro. If necessary.

Furthermore, as I said in another article "Apple Keynote 09 users: go back to PowerPoint 2004?", it's a perfect PowerPoint set up to rehearse your presentation. Of course, if you only have very light slides with 2 graphs and one single headline, and you know your stuff perfectly, you don't need this. But if you are teaching or training some complex stuff, and as you DO NOT write everything on your slide, you keep crucial items in your notes pages in order not to forget them.
